These are remarks by Phil Saviano, taken from a panel discussion about the Boston Globe Spotlight Investigation, and the 2016 Academy-Award-winning film, “Spotlight.” The panel was part of the September 2016 “Spotlight” Plenary at the National Center for Victims of Crime’s annual National Training Institute, held in Philadelphia, PA.
Other members of the panel were abuse survivor Joseph Crowley, Globe reporter Sacha Pfeiffer and attorney Eric MacLeish. The attorney is seen here speaking about the effects of abuse on victims as they enter adult life.
